Disco crazy!!

Early on in the night, Assembly djs made their intentions clear. Heavy electro was served to all. Justice, Digitalism, Presets and even a Boys Noise remix (Feist - My Moon My Man) made up a good portion of beats thrown down. Dance moves were so outrageous, that at one stage, my beverage was shoulder-barged by a little lady into my mouth chipping my front tooth. This came a week after I wrote off my car. Fun fun.
Check Berry advertising his own company. You go boy. If that girl is who I think it is, she should totally be getting a salary from WAA for all the features she has appeared in for the lads. Either that, or, should she become a model, WAA should get shares in her profits for all the PR they have done for her over the years. WAA could totally start a modelling agency. Discotheque, Discotheque

So, on Friday night I went to the Discotheque. Yes, that's right, the Discotheque. Assembly was launching their 'venue within a venue' with a different entrance and everything. It remains officially unnamed, but is affectionately dubbed 'the Annex'.

Although off to a slow start, the night progressed, the venue filled, and the party got huge...until the the venue starting emptying again at about 1h30. It was a little weird. I think the pull of Evol is still very strong on a Friday night despite the ridiculously HEAVY ELECTRO (!!!) that was going down at the Annex.

The Discotheque definitely has potential to be a weekly thing, but I am not sure if the slash to revenue will be welcomed as Assembly usually fills the ENTIRE venue with a band or three on most Fridays.
