Chew's Birthday Issue - Dear John Love Emma and more

Check out the latest from Chew Magazine. It's their birthday Issue. Happy Birthday Chew. Thanks for a year of great music, fashion, photography and random things. My article is in the Birthday issue. I did a feature on the entirely unusual Dear John Love Emma. Click on the image below and turn to page 196.
They've done something new. Instead of downloading the mag and viewing it with Adobe Reader, you now view the whole thing online. It looks pretty, but I would still like to have it on my desktop for a while before storing it in my archive of book downloads.

I Heart New Magazines

The last few days I have been reading a new magazine, called Voice Magazine. They have just released the Pilot Issue. A very interesting concept. Unlike publications such as Chew, you read the entire magazine online.

This issue features a number of locals.
Johnny Neon (muso)
Jadan McCulough (New Loud Rockets)
Blaise Janichon (Assembly Manager)
Gabi-Lee Smit (model)
Sean Sassen and Andrew Berry (we-are-awesome kids)
Bevan Davis (photographer)

Oh, and many more interesting articles and pictures. The we-are-awesome article was most interesting.

There are also a few interesting music videos, most of which we've seen by now.

Check it out.

Chew - The Technology Issue

The latest Chew Magazine is out and available for FREE pdf dowload. It has interesting music stuffs on Isochronous and Ben Rausch. Also Inge is back with some new hot fashion pics. It is totally worth sacrificing 30MB to get this desktop glossy. Do it. Oh, and the interview with Ben (Sassquatch) is mine.

Desmond and Z&G do Chew

So, I have been doing a bit of work for Chew Magazine of late. Fun times. There latest issue, called The Design Issue includes some exciting things on top of the small features on Desmond & the Tutus and Zebra & Giraffe. You can see the beautiful Inge Beckmann, some interesting astore clothing and a lot more. Click here to download the magazine now.
These are some of the pics from the night, not used by Chew Magazine. These are courtesy of the ever talented Zahra Robertson.

As you probably know, Desmond leave for Sweden tonight to start their Sweden/UK tour. All the best lads!

Chew Magazine

Chew Magazine was launched earlier this year into a market of readers that were in desperate need of something new. Chew provided that. This exclusively online available magazine is released every two months on free download.

The magazine features articles and pictures of the latest fashion from top designers, photography from the best in the business, lifestyle, books, bands and much more. They published an article I did about Louise Day Band. Click here to download the latest Chew Magazine. Did you miss the other two issues? One of the nice things about Chew is that on the site are all the issues released, past and present. You can even choose a cover for your magazine. On top of the perks of online magazining, while you browse the magazine on company time, you can listen to a song of one the featured bands you are reading about. Very cool.
Issue #1 (Dream Issue)
Issue #2 (Street ID)
Issue #3 (Tribute)

The next issue will be out at the beginning of Feb and promises to be even better.

Also be sure to check out the Chew Magazine Blog.
